一、学校概况

滇西科技师范学院始建于1978年，是云南省最年轻的省属公办本科院校之一。学校地处气候宜人、生态优美、人文荟萃、物产丰饶的云南省临沧市，该地作为中国少有的避暑避寒、宜居宜游城市，被誉为“中国十佳绿色城市”和“中国恒春之都”。学校总用地面积73.27万㎡，设有14个二级学院，37个本科专业，全日制在校生1.6万余人。现有教职员工811人，其中自有专任教师548人，高级职称274人，博士、硕士496人。办学至今，学校先后招收缅甸、泰国、柬埔寨等南亚东南亚的留学生近500人。

四、申请时间

申请截止时间：2026年6月前（2026年9月入学）；逾期申请则第二年九月入学。

五、申请资格

（一）遵守中国的法律法规及学校的规章制度，尊重中国风俗习惯，品德良好；

（二）身体健康，符合国家颁布的“外国来华留学生健康检查标准”，持有有效普通护照的外国公民；

（三）学历背景：具有高中毕业及以上学历或同等学力；

（四）年龄要求：18-30岁；

（五）语言水平要求：以中文为专业教学语言的学科、专业的外国留学生，中文能力至少达到《国际汉语能力标准》（HSK）四级水平；以外语为专业教学语言的学科、专业的外国留学生，外语水平应达到相应语言水平；

（六）符合申请专业的其他要求（含笔试和面试）；

（七）符合《教育部关于规范我高等学校接受国际学生有关工作的通知》（教外函〔2020〕12号）有关规定，参见：https://www.gov.cn/zhengce/zhengceku/2020-06/10/content_5518369.htm。

六、申请方式

采用线上申请的方式，符合申请资格的申请人将清晰的电子版材料提交至滇西科技师范学院对外合作交流处邮箱：dskgjhz@163.com。

七、申请材料

（一）申请者本人签名的《滇西科技师范学院来华留学生入学申请表》（附件2）；

（二）无犯罪记录证明（6个月以内有效）；

（三）存款证明（银行开具的存款证明或其经济担保人的工作收入证明。存款不得低于第一学年须缴纳的学费、住宿费、保险费、办理居留许可费用、生活费及一次性往返交通费）；

（四）《外国人体格检查表》（6个月以内有效）（附件3）；

（五）在华事务担保人出具的担保书（附件4）；

（六）最后学历证书的复印件或大学在读证明；

（七）高中或大学的成绩单；

（八）汉语水平达HSK四级180分或以上证书复印件（2年内有效）；国内学校出具的语言水平测试证明（最高学历授课语言为中文的申请者，免交HSK证书，但须提供国内学校授课语言证明）；雅思、托福成绩单或其他英语语言能力证明材料；

（九）护照复印件；

（十）年龄未满十八周岁且父母不在中国境内常住的申请者，须由其父母委托在中国境内常住的外国人或者中国人作为该生的监护人，并出具委托书，同时提供该监护人的相关证明材料。

注：以上材料均为必备材料，材料不齐者不予录取；中英文以外的文本需附经公证的中文或英文翻译件的扫描件；注册学籍时须补交毕业证和学位证等相关材料的原件。

八、录取

（一）学校组织专家对申请人的申请材料进行评审，视情况组织笔试、面试或其他形式的考核，遴选出拟录取人选，对符合条件者，择优录取。

（二）录取名单确认后，学校于2026年7月前将录取材料发送至已录取学生的邮箱。

（三）被录取的学生不得擅自更改专业或学习时间；JW表或DQ表请根据邮件通知到指定官网下载打印。

九、入学报到

（一）入学报到具体时间及要求以录取通知书为准；

（二）新生报到时应出具上述所有申请材料原件，否则将被取消录取资格；

（三）如有特殊原因不能按时报到者，须以书面形式提前向学校请假，且请假日期不得迟于《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》（JW表、DQ表）中规定的注册截止日期，获批后可延期报到；未经批准不按时报到者，取消入学资格。

十、收费标准

以上收费如有调整，按学校调整标准执行。

4.参评学年未受到纪律处分；

2026 Admissions Guidelines for International Students

Ⅰ. About WYNU

Founded in 1978

Founded in 1978, West Yunnan University (WYNU) is one of the newest provincially administered public undergraduate universities in Yunnan Province. The campus is located in Lincang, a city known for its mild climate, beautiful natural environment, rich cultural heritage, and diverse resources. Lincang is also recognized as one of China’s “Top 10 Green Cities” and is often called the “City of Eternal Spring.”

The university covers 732,700 square meters and consists of 14 colleges offering 37 undergraduate programs. It has over 16,000 full‑time students and 811 staff members, including 548 full‑time faculty. Among them, 274 hold senior academic titles, and 496 have master’s or doctoral degrees. Since its founding, the university has welcomed nearly 500 international students from South and Southeast Asia, including Myanmar, Thailand, and Cambodia.

June 2026 for September 2026 enrollment. Applications submitted after the deadline will be considered for enrollment the following September.

Ⅴ. Eligibility Requirements

1. Applicants must comply with Chinese laws and university regulations, respect local customs, and demonstrate good character;

2. Applicants must be in good health, meet China’s medical requirements for international students, and hold a valid ordinary passport;

3. Academic background: High school diploma or above (or equivalent).;

4. Age: 18-30 years old;

5. Language proficiency: For Chinese‑taught programs: HSK Level 4 or higher; For programs taught in other languages: applicants must meet the appropriate language requirements;.

6. Meet any additional requirements for the intended major (including written exams or interviews if required);

Ⅵ. How to Apply

Applicants should submit clear electronic versions of all required materials to the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange of WYNU via email at: dskgjhz@163.com.

VII. Required Application Materials

1. WYNU Application Form for International Student signed by the applicants themselves (Attachment 2);

2. Certificate of no criminal record (issued within the last 6 months);

3. Proof of financial support (bank statement or financial sponsor’s employment/income certificate). The available funds must cover the first academic year’s tuition, housing, insurance, residence permit fees, living expenses, and round‑trip travel;

4.Foreigner Physical Examination Form ((valid within 6 months) (Attachment 3);

5. A guaranty letter from a guardian or responsible person residing in China (Attachment 4);

6. Copy of the highest academic certificate or proof of current university enrollment;

7. High school or university transcripts;

8.Copy of certificate with HSK Level 4 score of 180 or above in Chinese proficiency (valid for 2 years); OR a language proficiency certificate issued by a school in China. Applicants whose highest degree was taught in Chinese are exempt from submitting an HSK certificate but must provide official confirmation that the program’s language of instruction was Chinese; IELTS, TOEFL, or other English proficiency test scores may also be submitted if relevant;

9. Passport copy;

10. Applicants under 18 whose parents do not reside in China must appoint a guardian living in China (Chinese or foreign citizen). A notarized power of attorney and the guardian’s identification documents are required.

Note: All of the above materials are required. Applications with incomplete documentation will not be accepted. For any document not in Chinese or English, a notarized translation must be provided. Original copies of graduation certificates, degree certificates, and other relevant documents must be presented at the time of registration.

Ⅷ. Admission Process

1. The university will review all applications and may conduct written tests, interviews, or other assessments as needed. Applicants who meet the requirements will be admitted based on merit;

2. Admission results and materials will be sent to admitted students via email by July 2026;

3. Once admitted, students may not change their major or program duration without approval. Instructions for downloading the JW or DQ forms will be provided in the admission email.

Ⅸ. Registration

1. Registration dates and instructions will be specified in the admission notice;

2. All original application documents must be presented at registration. Failure to provide original documents will result in cancellation of admission.

3. Students unable to register on time must submit a written request for leave in advance. The leave request must be submitted before the registration deadline listed on the JW/DQ forms. If approved, registration may be postponed. Failure to register without approval will result in cancellation of admission.

Ⅹ. Tuition and Fees

If any of the above fees are adjusted, the university’s updated standards will apply.

2. Eligibility Requirements for University Scholarships

(1) Applicants must be foreign citizens who comply with Chinese laws and regulations, follow WYNU rules, and have no criminal record;

(2) Applicants must meet the admission requirements for international students at WYUN;

(3) Applicants must respect teachers, get along well with classmates, study diligently, and maintain integrity and good conduct;

(4) Applicants must not have received any disciplinary sanctions during the evaluation year;

(5) Applicants must demonstrate strong academic performance in the evaluation year and must not be recipients of any other scholarships during the same period.

Note: Applications for university‑level scholarships should generally be submitted before July each academic year. International students enrolled at the university may also apply for the Yunnan Provincial Government Scholarship.
